The children's show "Contando Estórias" is part of a series of actions in conjunction with the team that takes care of the collection and memory of the extraordinary actress Léa Garcia, who revolutionized the Brazilian arts scene with her message of equality and freedom.


Marcelo Garcia, son of Lea Garcia, worked as her manager in recent years and was by her side until her last act, receiving the Oscarito in her name, on the day of her death and has been receiving a series of tributes to her, which have been taking place In Brazil, the renowned actress even received the highest cinema award, being the only Brazilian actress to have an OSCAR in memoriam.


Today, director Marcelo Garcia, responsible for the legacy left by the great artist, is working hard to keep this story alive, directing and producing some works, such as a documentary and a biographical book alongside great names such as Joel Zito Araújo and Mauro Alencar, under production Marcelo Cunha from Maraq Filmes e productions, and together with Mistic Produções, holds the exhibition LEA NEGRA ATRIZ DA LIBERDADE, which is curated by Joel Vieira and executive produced by Renata Maria.

Marcelo Garcia is also putting together a children's show inspired by a new project that Léa was aiming for, and the fatality did not allow her to achieve it, but as her last wish was told to Marcelo, he is continuing everything that she dreamed of and achieved and needs all of us together to keep this story alive.
